I have to accept many things, and to deal with things that most teens don't have to deal with. I come from a large family, five girls. People always say to my mom how do you do it how do you coup with five girls. I think she does it because of love, the love she has for me and my sisters is crazy. Recently I thought that love was tested when she learned that my little sister was diagnosed with a genetic disorder called Neurofibromatosis. Not alot of people know what that is well it's when tumors grow, for my little sister those tumors are on her brain. She has to go every six months to get a MRI making sure they didn't grow. To add onto that my mom and father split up after being together for fifteen years. I was angry about the whole situation I didn't know what to think. Then I realized my mom was weak the battle she was facing made her weak. My mom is a very strong woman who I look up to. She always reassure me that everything is going to be ok and that we have to say strong. Even when I thought the worst was going to happen my mom was there. The things I face are hard to deal with and to accept, but my moms love and strength makes me realize that even when I'm at rock bottom, that I can always overcome it because of my mom. Being a teen today can be tough I general having homework every night, stressing about the test you didn't study for, and the rude people. These things are nothing compared to what my mom has to face. My sister and my parents I feel like I'm pretty damn tough. And when it comes to stress of being a teen I can deal with it. When you have a perfect life and you feel like nothing could go wrong life comes in and hits you with a new problem. It can get complicated you blame yourself for what happened, you feel like you did something wrong. But on one can plan for what happens in the future and worry about the past when you should be worrying about what's going on now. No matter how complicated your life could get and having to deal with life you alway have to keep your heads up high and always imagine things will get better and that you can get through it. Always have a smile on your face and be kind to everyone because you never know what those people have to deal with in life.
Chelsea, what a love you are. You have so much strength and wisdom for someone so young. I think that's because you've been through so much already that a lot of kids have not had to go through. These experience have made you resilient. They have also made you kind. Kindness is HIGHLY underrated. To me, it's just about the most important quality a person can possess, other than gratitude. You clearly have both in spades.
ReplyDeleteAs for the layout here, don't forget to put in paragraphs and give it a proofread (once over for wording and such) before you hit publish. Also, don't forget to grab a pic or a graphic or something for each entry. If you don't know how to do that, I can help.
Awesome entry.
